Asian Development Bank 2024 Internship Program

  1. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is an international multilateral financial institution founded in 1966, with its headquarters located in Manila, Philippines. ADB currently employs over 3,000 staff members. Its mission is to promote economic development and social welfare in its member countries within the Asia-Pacific region. ADB has 68 member countries, consisting of 49 regional members and 19 non-regional members, with our country being one of the founding members.

  2. ADB offers internship opportunities to graduate and doctoral students from its member countries, allowing them to work with professionals from over 50 countries. Interns assist ADB in conducting research and contributing to various projects. Interns gain valuable experience with international development organizations, including a deeper understanding of ADB's developmental financial operations and their economic impact on the region.

  3. Recognizing that the internship experience at ADB helps our young scholars build international exposure and enhances their competitiveness in international affairs, as well as provides valuable experience for future job applications at ADB or other international organizations, we encourage graduate and doctoral students to apply enthusiastically.
