Higher Education Sprout Project 2-2-4

Subsidies for Department-led Corporate Site Visit

 

Purpose
  1. Under the Higher Education Sprout Project, this subsidy encourages students to participate in corporate visits based on their expertise and career interests, allowing them to experience workplace environments early and cultivate career readiness.

  2. In alignment with Project 2-2-4 goals, this activity integrates with the "CCU Chia-Star Student Career Empowerment Program," encouraging "Chia-Star" students (underrepresented/disadvantaged students) to participate and qualify for grants.

Important Dates 

To comply with the university’s project management and budget execution regulations, please adhere to the following schedule:

  1. Application Period: February 17, 2025 – November 3, 2025 (No late applications will be accepted)

  2. Execution Deadline: Activities must be completed by December 14, 2025.

Frequency Each department may apply for a maximum of three subsidized corporate visits before the deadline.
Application & Funding Guidelines
  1. Application Process: Submit the "Corporate Site Visit Subsidy Application Form" at least one week prior to the visit (Absolute deadline: Nov 3). Once approved, please email the digital announcement file before the event.

 
  1. Subsidy Scope: Funding is strictly limited to transportation costs .Northern Region (Hsinchu and North): Max subsidy of NT$20,000. Southern Region (South of Hsinchu): Max subsidy of NT$16,000.Note: University-owned vehicles (fuel costs) are not eligible for subsidy.

 
  1. Reimbursement Requirements: Submit the following within one week after the activity:

 

(1)Digital Files (Email to: admjhlai@ccu.edu.tw):

  • 4 original photo files (unpasted).

  • Activity Report (Word file): A minimum of 800 words is required for the reflection content.

  • Participant List (Full Name and Department/Year only).

 

(2)Hard Copies:

  • rental invoice (The university will pay the vendor directly; no personal advance payments).

 

(3)Evaluation: Ensure all participants complete the Satisfaction Survey (Link: https://forms.gle/fuzeayNbgYrs2WBX8 ).

 
  1. Penalties: Departments that fail to provide complete documentation within one week will be disqualified from receiving subsidies in the following year.

 
  1. Bus companies must be legally registered. It is highly recommended to rent vehicles less than five years old. Departments must arrange insurance for all participating students.

  2. Departments are responsible for arranging insurance for all participating students.

  1. Reporting Standards: Due to the competitive nature of project funding, reflections must exceed 800 words and describe the activity in detail to ensure future eligibility.

  2. To track students' learning effectiveness, organizers must ensure that all participants complete the Satisfaction Survey immediately after the event. The survey data should be forwarded to the Career Development Center for analysis.

  3. This activity is funded by Project 2-2-4. To fulfill the goal of encouraging "Chia-Star" students to participate in career services, a complete participant list must be provided. This allows the Center to verify student identities and implement the "CCU Chia-Star Student Career Empowerment Program" grants.

  4. Subsidies from the Sprout Project will be denied if the proposed seminars or corporate visits are found to be unrelated to student career development or employment guidance.
