2025 National Chung Cheng University Regulations for Student Professional Certification Awards

I. These regulations are established to encourage students to actively participate in various professional skill examinations and certification tests, thereby enhancing their employment competitiveness.

II. Eligible Applicants: Undergraduate and Master's students of CCU who have obtained professional certifications between December 1, 2024, and November 30, 2025, through government agencies, government-commissioned units, or university-recognized private institutions. (Note: Applicants must hold enrolled student status at the time the certificate is obtained. Certifications obtained prior to enrollment or during a leave of absence are not eligible.)

III. Scope of Awards: The types and items of professional certifications eligible for subsidies are detailed in the attached list (Appendix). (If the certification you wish to apply for is not listed, please contact the Career Development Center at ext. 12203)

IV. Award Methods:

     (1)For each professional skill examination or certification listed in the appendix that a student successfully passes and obtains, a reward of NT$600 per certificate will be granted.

     (2)Each student may apply for a maximum of 3 certification rewards per year. Students who qualify for the "CCU Chia-Star Student" status may apply for up to 5 certification rewards. (Certifications that have previously received this award are not eligible for re-application).

     (3)Applicants who have passed the examination but have not yet received the original certification document will not be eligible for the subsidy this year.

     (4)Subsidies will not be granted if the same certification has already received other awards or financial incentives from the university.

V. Application Period and Method:The application deadline for 2025 is November 30. Applicants must submit the following documents (available for download on the Career Development Center website) directly to the Career Development Center of the Office of Student Affairs.

     (1)One copy of the Application Form.

     (2)One photocopy of the front of your Student ID Card.

     (3)One photocopy of the front of your National ID Card.

     (4)One photocopy of the Professional Certification document.

     (5)Receipt (CCU standard format).

VI. To receive the award, you must fill out the official university receipt; otherwise, the subsidy process cannot be completed. The "Payee/Recipient" field must be signed by hand, while other fields may be typed. Please leave the "Amount" field blank for the program coordinator to fill in.

VII. The award and subsidy amounts specified in these guidelines are subject to adjustment based on the budget of the Higher Education Sprout Project (Project 2-2-4 Chia-Star Career Guidance Plan) and the total number of applications received.
